Abstract
【Objective】To study the influence of Resveratrol on SGC7901 gastric cancer cells in vitro in order to judge the effect of proliferation and expression of Survivn.【Methods】 The experiment was accomplished at Chongqing university of medical science in April of 2003 to May of 2004. Cell apoptosis and distribution of cell cycles were examined by flow cytometer on SGC7901 gastric cancer cells with Resveratrol treated groups and PBS treaed groups. Immunohistochemical method was used to study expression of survivin.【Results】The apoptosis rate of SGC7901 gastric cancer cells was 3.45% on Resveratrol treated groups while contral groups were 0.00%. Compared with black control group at 72 hours after treated with Resveratrol,the cell numbers of prohibit G0/G1 phase were significantly increased while cells at S phase and G2/M phase obviously decreased. The expression of Survivn declined on Resveratrol treated groups and had very significant difference(P 0.01) compared with black control groups.【Conclusion】Resveratrol could inhibit the proliferation of SGC7901 effectively. The mechanism may be related to that Resveratrol can induce apoptosis,prohibit cycle and decline the expression of survivin.
