The reason analysis and nursing countermeasure of neuological patients with urinary tract infection

Objective:To analyze the reason of neuological patients with urinary tract infection,and explore the effective nursing countermeasures.Methods:352 cases of patients in nerve internal medicine hospital was retrospective analyzed,the relation of age,the degree of coma,time of indwelling catheter and urinary tract infection rate were explored.Results:The rate of urinary tract infection in the elderly patients was significantly higher than that of other age groups(P0.05).The rate of urinary tract infection in severe coma patients was significantly higher than that of light,moderate coma patients(P0.05).The rate of urinary tract infection in urinary tract infection time of indwelling catheter for more than 14 days of was significantly higher than that of patients in other groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The rate of urinary tract infection had certain relations with age,coma degree and time of indwelling catheter.Therefore,the basic nursing should be strengthened to elderly patients and patients with mean serious obstacles,as far as possible to shorten the time of indwelling catheter,thereby reducing the incidence of urinary tract infection.
