Opportunities, Challenges and Countermeasures of Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Chongqing

Small and medium-sized enterprises are foundations of the national economy and the most active factor in the social economy, have irreplaceable function in such aspects as economic development, social stability, full employment, scientific and technical innovation. After joining in WTO, in the face of the main trend of the economic globalization, small and medium-sized enterprises face enormous challenges and opportunities. On the basis of surveying and studying basic situation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Chongqing, this paper analyzes and researches the impact ,challenges and opportunities of joining in WTO bringing to small and medium-sized enterprises of Chongqing, and proposes the countermeasures.
