Abstract
Aimed at a regular packing production line (RPPL) in chemical industry, this paper discusses the production logistic of the RPPL process, presents an integrated scheme that combines the layout of equipment in groups. Some improved methods are provided for making physical distribution systems run well and minimizing the inventory level in the process. Based on lean production, the paper designs a distribution process that is suitable for different quantity and different life cycle of production. It is concluded that the reengineering model with amelioration is practical solution to realize lean production in the RPPL process.
