Abstract

Objective To study the effects of Treatment of Class Ⅱ malocclusion with Twin-block Appliances.Methods 12 cases of Class Ⅱ Division Ⅰ malocclusion with mandibular retrusion in the mixed dentition or early permanent dentition were treated with Twin-block Appliances,and the effects were evaluated with Cephalometric analysis before and after treatment.Results After using Twin-block Appliances,almost all patients' molars were rejected into centric occlusion,Normal overjet and overbite obtained,soft tissue appearance and profile were improved greatly.Conclusion Twin-block Appliances were efficient for treating early Class Ⅱ Division Ⅰ malocclusion with mandibular retrusion.
