Abstract
In order to effectively develop Semen Astragali Complanati and provide theoretical parameters for deep processing, phenolic antioxidants from Semen Astragali Complanati were studied for the total reducing power, the scavenging abilities of superoxide radical and hydroxyl radical, and Fe2+ induced lipid peroxidation in this paper. The antioxidant capacities of three phenolic extracts were also compared. The results showed that all phenolic extracts possess certain antioxidant activity, and the effects depend on the dose in the range of experimental concentration.
