Abstract

On the basis of experiments about splash of single raindrop and time rainfall, the splash laws of soil crust were studied. The result showed that the variant characteristic was the same to the two, while the amount of splash was obvious difference, that was to say. That the splash of crust was always lower than that of non crust through the analysis and contrast about crust soil and non crust. Their change of splash amount is related with slope degree, water content of early stage, thickness and rainfall intensity, and they can be calculated by formulas following:  W=1.6915S 0.1777 θ 0.4667 D 0.7632 H -0.4925  and  W=0.4523(PI) 0.7538 S 0.1450 ? 
