Abstract
This study on toughening polystyrene(PS)is important because PS is widely used at present.As a new toughening method,rigid particle toughening calls scientist's attention.In this paper,the toughening mechanism and inlfueuc- ing factor of rigid particles,as well as the application of rigid particles to PS are introoduced in detail.
