Development of Research on Toughening of Polypropylene

The newest study progress of toughening PP is summarized.The newest study of toughening PP by using rubber or elastomer blend,thermoplastic plastics,rigid particle,rigid particle coordination with elastomer,fiber and the influence on the mechanical properties,thermal properties and rheology are discussed respectively.The toughening PP with rigid particle and rigid particle coordination with elastomer are expounded emphatically.Synergistic toughening of PP with rigid particle/elastomer can avoid the questions introduced by rigrid partical and elastomer respectively,and so it has great potential on modification of PP in the future.
