Abstract

Objective To investigate the causes of postoperative portal vein thrombosis(PVT) in patients with cirrhotic portal hypertension. Methods The clinical data of 86 patients with portal hypertension receiving undergoing enteric cavity shunt combined with devascularization or devascularization were analyzed retrospectively. The data of patients about age,sex were collected to be analyzed, the level of platform was examined, and the diameter and the blood flow rate of portal vein were measured by Doppler Ultrasonography. Results PVT occurred after operation in 16 of 86 patients(16/86,18.60%).The incidence of PVT in devascularization group was 23.33%(14/60).The incidence of PVT in combination group was 7.69%(2/26).The blood flow rate of the portal vein in patients with PVT was slower than that in those without PVT(P0.05).The age of the patients with PVT was elder than that of those without PVT(P0.05).There were no significant differences in the sex,the child-pugh classification, prothrombin time of the two groups of patients with or without PVT(P0.05).Conclusions The risk factors of PVT are the age and the alleviation of the blood flow of portal vein.
