Clinical research of acupuncture plus point injection in treatment of cervical vertigo

Abstract
Objective:To observe clinical effects of acupuncture plus point injection in treatment of cervical vertigo,and explore its action mechanism. Methods:32 patients with cervical vertigo,who were treated with acupuncture plus point injection for a course,were selected as observation group; while the other 28 patients,who only received medical treatment for a course,were used as control group. The clinical effects of the two groups were observed. Results:The total effective rates of observation group and control group were 93. 75% and 50%,respectively,and the difference between the two groups was significant(P 0. 05). Conclusions:The clinical effects of acupuncture plus point injection in the treatment of cervical vertigo are better than those of single medical treatment,and it can reduce the dosage and improve the curative effect,and has no adverse reactions.
