Abstract

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of video-assisted thoracoscopic lobectomy in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 150 patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) were randomly divided into observation group(75 cases)and control group(75 cases),observation group was treated by video-assisted thoracopic surgery(VATS),the control group was treated by conventional thoracotomy, observed the clinical efficacy after the operation. Results The operative time, the blood loss, the length of operative incision, the length of hospital stay and the incidence of complications of the VATS group were less than the conventional thoracotomy group(P 0.05),but the number of lymph nodes of the two groups had no statistically significant(P0.05).The recurrence rate of the VATS group was lower than the the conventional thoracotomy group, the 3-year survival rate was higher(P 0.05).Conclusions Video-assisted thoracoscopic lobectomy is safe and feasible in the treatment in non-small cell lung cancer,it was worthy to be popularized.
