Abstract

Objective: To study the chemical constituents of ethyl acetate fraction from Platycodon grandiflorum(Jacq.)A.DC.Method: Chemical constituents were isolated by chromatographic methods and identified by NMR analysis.Results: Nine compounds are oleanolic acid(1),friedelinol(2),negletein(3),daucosterol(4),α-spinasterol(5),α-spinasterol-3-O-β-D-glucopy ranoside(6),betulin(7),stigmasta-7-dien-3β-ol(8),β-sitosterol(9).Conclusion: Compound 1,2,3 and 4 are isolated from this plant for the first time.
