Abstract
cases of sudden blindness dus to refind vein obstruction were divided into groups according to the diffrentiation of symptoms and signs in qi and blood, and microcirculation of nail plica and blood rheology were tested. The result of nail plica microcirculation showed that the abnormality of vesseles and the change of blood flow were significant, and the body microcirculation was in the state of blood stasis. The result of blood rheology indicated an increased blood viscosity and an increased orythrocyte aggregation which agreed with the stagnancy of blood in Chinese traditional medicine. From these two results,it is suggested that its general pathological changes agree with the mechanism of the formation of blood stasis in Chinese traditional medicine, and is identical to traditional Chinese medical theory of “determination of pathogenic factors based on the differentiation of symptoms and signs”.
