Abstract
Xie He lays a foundation with“six techniques” with “vividness and vitality” at the foremost, for Chinese traditional drawing Aesthetics. Based on predecessors' research, from the modern aesthetic point of view, this article analyses mainly the inner aesthetic idea of “vividness and vitality”, summarizes respectively the philosophical aesthetic qualities of “vitality”,“charm” and “vividness” on different levels, underlines the role of it in Chinese traditional Aesthetics.
