Toxicity of Ten Pesticides to Brachydanio rerio and Safety Evaluation

Abstract
The toxicity of ten pesticides to Brachydanio rerio was investigated using standardized laboratory procedures;the grade was compartmentalized according to toxicity scope;and the safety evaluation was made for these pesticides.The results indicate that the LC50(96 h) of two pesticides is lower than 0.1 mg/ L(belong to extremely high toxicity grade);that of five pesticides is between 0.1～1.0 mg/L(belong to high toxicity grade);that of one pesticide is between 0.1～1.0 mg/L(belong to moderate toxicity grade);that of two pesticides is higher than 10 mg/L(belong to slight toxicity grade).
