Abstract

The floristic composition and flora based on the vegetation investigation and the correlational materials were studied.The results showed that there were 38 varieties and 726 species,349 genera,101 families of Vascular Plants in Gurigesitai Nature reserve which lies in southeast of Xiwuzhumuqi,Inner Mongolia.Among them,ferns were 20 species,15 genera,11 families,gymnosperms were 9 species,5 genera,3 families,while angiosperms were 38 varieties and 679 species,349 genera,87families,which respectively accounted for 96.3%,94.5%,and 86.1% of the Vascular Plants.Flora in this area had temperate property with abundant geographic elements.Most of them were East Asia,pan-arctic elements,next was Dahuria-mongolia,Palaerctic and East-Palaerctic elements.The floral geographical elements were diverse,including 19 different types,with abroad geographic relation.
