The therapeutic effect of in the treatmen t in old patients with essential hypertension using Levamlodipine besylate tablets

Objective To evaluate of the effectiveness and safety of Levamlodipine Besylate tablets in the treatment in old patients with essential hypertension.Methods 68 cases of essential hypertension taking Levamlodipine Besylate Tablets,course of 6 months.Results Markedly effective in 42 cases(61.7%),effctive in 22 cases(32.3%,invalid in 4 cases(6.0%),and the total effective power was 97.1%.Sitting blood p ressure decreased significantly two weeks after treatment compared with before treatment,before treatment:(157±15)/(102±12)mm Hg;after treatment:(142±12 /92±6)mm Hg.No significant change on heart rate(P0.05).Detection of 24-hour ambulatory blood p ressure and alculate the ratio of buck-peak rate65%.Conclusions In the treatment of essential hypertension in old patients,Levamlodipine besylate tablets is safe and effective.
