Abstract

The author proceeds from the consideration of the factors which affect mental development in the light of the values alignment during the period of changing pattern by means of open-poll investigation, indivdual visit, analysing works and analyses the reason for college students' setbacks which result from internal and external causes. Meanwhile the author puts forward the strategies to deal with setbacks, includirg self-defense mechanism and self-regualation mechanism.
