Abstract

The rotors′ profiles of screw pumps are complicated generally,and their deduction of equations have several methods.Using principles of gear connection,the equations of both the rotors' cycloid profiles and action lines of 135 three screw pump were deduced,and the relation between the swing angles and the open angle about the driving rotor's profile and driven rotors' profile were deduced.This method has universality,so it's suitable for engineers and technicians to revise the rotors' profiles or design the new ones of screw pumps.Another outcome about the relation between the swing angles and the open angle can be used to calculate the rotors′ sections and the cutting tool.
