Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the health state of civil servants in Zhuhai City,and provide evidence for prevention and health care.[Methods]The data from physical examination of civil servants (4006 people) were collected and analyzed in 2008.[Results] Hypercholesterolemia(36.62%),hyperuricemia(33.20%),overweight and obesity (20.42%)were the first 3 diseases which detected from the health examination; comparing with female civil servant,hyperuricemia,dyslipidemia,fatty liver,hypertension,glucose metabolism abnormality of male were significantly higher (P0.05);the prevalence of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases showed a younger trend and increased with age.[Conclusion]The incidence of metabolic syndrome,hyperuricemia,fatty liver,hypertension is high among Zhuhai civil servants. The health education and behavior intervention should be strengthened to improve the health of civil servants.
