Developments and Protection of the Bang-tang Ancient Village

Abstract

Bang-tang village is located near Lei Zhou City, Guangdong Province. It has 500 years’ history. There are more than 100 ancient buildings of Qing Dynasty in the village. The residents are planning to re-build this village recently. An appropriate planning of the village is required before investment. The aim of the planning is to protect the ancient building and its landscape by enhancing the landscape quantity of the village. The experience of this work is helpful to solve the similar problems in the re-built of the ancient villages.
