Clinical Efficacy of Elder Chronic Eczema Treated with Qi-reinforcing and Blood-cooling and Lustrate-dampness Drugs

Objective:To observe the Qi-reinforcing and blood-cooling and lustrate-dampness decoction on the treatment of chronic eczema.Methods:84 patients 2007 to 2010 in my clinics and wards with chronic eczema were selected,Qi-reinforcing and blood-cooling and lustrate-dampness decoction was used for 42 cases,42 patients were routinely given compound dexamethasone combined glycerol itch cream lotion Eczema improvment and recurrence rate were compared.Results:Qi-reinforrcing and blood-cooling and lustrate-dampness decoction on chronic eczema has a good effect,with a total effective rate 85.8%,the control group was 63.7%(P0.05),the recurrence rate was significantly lower than the control group(P0.01).Conclusion:Qi-reinforcing and blood-cooling and lustrate-dampness Decoction has a better treatment result on chronic eczema,it can reduce the recurrence rate through reducing blood level of IgE,this may be the mechanism of its effection.
