On the Applications of Task-based Language Teaching in College English Teaching

Abstract

The traditional English teaching methods,to some degree,do not increase students' abilities of language application.Employing task-based language teaching method in college English teaching is helpful for students to develop their English proficiency.This paper discusses the application of task-based language teaching method from the perspective of the significance,definition,requirements of teachers as well as examples in college English teaching.
