Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical value of measurement of sacropubic diameter(anteroposterior diameter)of pelvic inlet and fetal biparietal diameter with prenatal ultrasound. Methods:The parameters of sacropubic diameter of pelvic inlet and fetal biparietal diameter measured by prenatal ultrasound in 180 parturient women were analyzed retrospectively, related factors were searched. Results:The difference of sacropubic diameter of pelvic inlet and fetal biparietal diameter in 180 vaginal spontaneous labor women was 19~29.7 mm.The sacropubic diameter of pelvic inlet in 141 spontaneous labor women was more than 23 mm,the sacropubic diameter of pelvic inlet in 39 parturient women undergoing cesarean section diagnosed as cephalopelvic disproportion was less than 22 mm.Conclusion:Prenatal measurement of sacropubic diameter of pelvic inlet and fetal biparietal diameter with ultrasound can be used as a prenatal screening method of cephalopelvic disproportion, delivery modes determined by sacropubic diameter of pelvic inlet and fetal biparietal diameter and clinical diagnosis may reduce the rate of cesarean section.
