Study of Land-Use Zoning Based on ArcGIS

Land-use zoning is an important part of the general land use planning,and serve as the main support for applying concrete land-use measures.The spatial analysis functions of GIS can be used to analyze the land-use changes,and to accomplish the suitability evaluation of land and the adjustment of the structure and allocation of land-use.At the same time,based on regulating the constructive expansion,it can delimit and adjust the land-use zoning.With the land resources of Longgang district in Huludao as the research object,this paper used the spatial analysis functions of GIS to analyze the land-use qualitatively and quantitively,then analyzed the factors influencing land-use zoning with combination of land-use data and the related economic references.At last the comprehensive scheme for the land-use zoning of Longgang district by the primary facter combined with multi-map overlying method is got.
