On the Educational Function of Community Sports in Jilin Province ——The Enlightenment from National Grade Social Sports Instructors Training in Jilin Province

By document literature,field visits,expert interview and other methods,the current situation of community sports in Jilin province was discussed.Research findings covered as follows: mass sport is gradually developing and growing in Jilin province,and the educational function of community sports has developed obviously.Educational function of sports is accepted by people in the transformation process from survival sports to enjoyment sports.In Jilin community sports,middle and old aged females are the backbone in physical activities,and males are the weak group.The main problem confronted by the participants is the inadequate understanding of educational function of community sports.The construction of social sports instructors is still the important problem in the development of social sports in Jilin province.
