Abstract
Objective: To study the masticatory efficiency between SD ball attachment dentures and traditional removable partial dentures at different stages. Methods: We selected 60 Kennendy type I defected patients, and measured the masticatory efficiency after repairing with SD ball attachment dentures and traditional removable partial denturts. At different stages, the results were compared each other. Results: There was significant difference on the masticatory efficiency between two kinds of denturts.Conchusion: The masticatory efficiency of the patients wearing the SD ball attachment denture is much better than that of those worn traditional removable partial dentures at difference stages.
