Abstract
The friction and wear properties of PTFE composites with nano-Cu, nano-Al, nano-ZnO, nano-Fe2O3 silding under dry friction condition were studied by using a MM-200 ring-block wear tester, and then the wear mechanisms of PTFE composites filled by the nano-materials were discussed. Friction and wear results show that the friction coefficient of the nano-particles filled PTFE composites are lower than the pure PTFE; And the anti-wearing properties of the nano-particles filled PTFE composites are well than the pure PTFE.
