Abstract
The coke was sprayed with coke additive at suitable site and used for experiment.The results are as follows: the coke additive additive has no pollution to environment,is harmless to human beings.The coke reaction index(CRI) of the coke sprayed with coke additive is decreased by 3.13 percentage,and the coke strength after reaction(CSR) is increased by 4.72 percentage in comparsion with non-sprayed coke.During the industrial experiment,the average hot metal output was increased by 66.69 ton per day,the coke rate is reduced by 5.21 kg per ton hot metal,the fluctuations of furnace temperture is small,sulphur content of hot metal is qualitified and qualification rate of hot metal is 100%.
