Research on team construction of full-time counselors in China's vocational colleges ——based on experience of American college

The students in vocational colleges,generally weak in basic knowledge,lack of learning initiative, need to improve their ideological understanding and the code of conduct. Many counselors,therefore,just focus on the management of students' daily routine while ignoring actively guiding and directing students' thought and value. The specialized and professionalized development of college counselors is a new approach to strengthening and improving the ideology and politics education of students. We should take the existing problems of counselors' team construction of colleges and universities in our country into consideration,analyze and take the precious experiences accumulated in American colleges as reference,and clearly set up the goal of the counselors team construction in the colleges in our country,which is very important and valuable for promoting the effectiveness of ideological and political education in vocational colleges in China.
