Ecological Assessment of Land Use Planning Scheme Based on Ecological Footprint:Taking Gongyi City as an Example

Abstract

With the development of social economy,the problems of ecological environment become more and more prominent. Application of ecological footprint method,can be a very good response to regional ecological status through the comparison of the ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity of a certain region. This paper,using the ecological footprint method for pre assessment of land use planning,provides a scientific basis for land use planning pre assessment. Firstly,through the ecological footprint's calculating analysis,it is concluded that the ecological deficit as a whole is on the rise,indicating that the ecological environment of Gongyi City was in unsustainable development state. Then it can be predicted that per capita ecological footprint consumption is 3. 203 4 hm2 per person in the planning target year. The per capita ecological capacity is 0. 286 3 hm2 per person by calculating various types of land use planning indicators and the ecological deficit is 2. 917 1 hm2 per person in 2020. It shows that the ecological environment of Gongyi City will face greater pressure during the planning period,so that it should be reduced the occupation of the high ecological carrying force land as far as possible for decision-making,such as arable land,water area,etc.
