Abstract
[Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of cake-separated mild moxibustion on acute stage peripheral facial paralysis.[Methods]120 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups. The control group(n=60) were treated with acupuncture. The treatment group(n=60) were treated with the same treatment as the control group, and cake-separated mild moxibustion was added.[Result]The cured and markedly effective rate was 85% in the treatment group and 65%.[Conclusion]The effect of Traditional acupuncture and cake-separated mild moxibustion is distinct for acute stage peripheral facial paralysis. They have good value of clinical applications.
