Acupuncture with Mild Moxibustion in the treatment of Severe Peripheral Facial Paralysis at Acute Period

Abstract
Objective:To observe the curative effect of acupuncture with mild moxibustion in the treatment of severe peripheral facial paralysis at acute period.Methods:68 cases were randomly divided into the treatment group(35 cases)and the control group(33 cases).The comparison group used the simple acupuncture method,the treatment group was on the basis of ordinary acupuncture,mild moxibustion was also used at Yifeng point,observe clinical curative effect of two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.6%(31/35),and the comparison group of the total effective rate was 66.7%(22/33).The curative effect of treatment group was better than that of comparison group(P0.05).Conclusion:The results of mild moxibustion with acupuncture in the treatment of severe facial paralysis at early staye were reliable,which can also effectively reduce the treatment of days,shorten the period of treatment,reduce pain and it is worth clinical application.
