Abstract

This paper analyses some changes in industrial agglomeration by Theil index and dynamic decomposed approach during a few decade years. The result indicates degrees of geographic concentration as a whole are increasing, but they have significantly different in terms of industries and regions.Firstly,as viewed from region,it is remarkable phenomena that industries agglomerate in south region and disperse in east-north region called as industrial base.Secondly,as viewed from industry,Contrary to concentration degree of high-tech industries and natural resources are not only high but also accelerating, that of traditional industries such as textile and other industries exhibit strongly mobility.
