Abstract

Objective To establish a RP-HPLC method for determination of geniposide and baicalin content in qingkailing capsule.Methods A Hibor C18 was used(4.6 mm×160 mm,5 μm)and detective wavelength was 240 nm(geniposide),278 nm(baicalin).The mobile phase:acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid(12∶88)(0~10 min),the flow rate was 0.8 mL/min;acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid(25∶75)(after 10 min),the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.Results The standard curve of geniposide was linear over the range of 0.16~2.4 μg(r=0.999 7),the standard curve of baicalin was linear over the range of 0.18~2.7 μg(r=0.999 9).The average rate of geniposide recovery was 96.94%,and RSD was 2.08%,the average of baicalin recovery was 100.18%,and RSD was 2.01%.Conclusion This method is reliable,accurate and suitable for the determination of geniposide and baicalin in qingkailing capsule.
