Abstract
Taking 'Juhua No.1' as the material, the effects of explant, medium on the loose callus induction of L.japonica were investigated,as well as the effects of primary inoculums size and sucrose concentration in the medium on the growth of suspension culture cell were studied. The results showed that the best explant which induced the callus was the young leave and its optimal medium was MS+2.0 mg/L 2,4-D+0.5 mg/L KT.The best primary inoculums size of callus was 60 g/L and the cell of L.japonica growed best when sucrose concentration was 35 g/L in suspension culture.
