Contemporary Social Transformation and Literary Theory Development

It is an obligatory social responsibility for literary theorist to pay attention to the inter- influence between the ancient and the contemporary,the Chinese and the foreign literary theory,and to timely reflect Chinese people's fundamental demand for literature and art in contemporary transformational period. Contemporary Chinese literary theory is promoting the advancement of contemporary Chinese literary criticism. Literary criticism development discourse,literature text interpretation studies,and ontological interpretation discourse are fragmented products of contemporary history. Therefore,they are not the scientific means of contemporary literary theory development.
