Diagnostic value of ultrasound in polypoid lesion of gallbladder

Abstract

Objective To discuss the diagnostic value of ultrasound in polypoid lesions of gallbladder.MethodSixty polypoid lesions of gallbladder were examined with ultrasound.All cases were proved by pathology after operation.ResultsPolyploid lesions of gallbladder were in 60 cases,the positive diagnostic rate of ultrasound was 100%,and that of cholesterol polyp was 76.7%(46/60),adenoma was 13.3%(8/60),inflammatory polyp was 6.7%(4/60) and adenomyomatosis was 3.3%(2/60).ConclusionUltrasound possesses actual screening applicable for diagnosing polypoid lesion of gallbladder in clinic and it should be the important method in gallbladder diseases.
