Abstract

First,the regional karst condition and features of karst drainage basin in Yunnan are delineated.And then,the karst water systems are divided into the different grades according to the differences of hydrogeological condition and features.The first grade is the karst water system.The second grade includes shallow-circulating and deep-circulating karst water systems.The third grade of karst water systems includes five basic types: exposed;exposed-covered;exposed-buried;stratabound and fault zone.Furthermore,the hydrogeological features and investigation outline of each type of karst water are put forward in this paper.
