Abstract

English is an important tool for intercultural communication.English teaching is also the teaching of culture.In teaching practice,across-culture education is not only necessary but also feasible.Cultivating students' intercultural communication competence and improving their intercultural communication ability should be the main object of English teaching.The methods to achieve this object include introducing cultural background,developing reaching study, and creating a cultural atmosphere for English learning.
