Abstract
A field plot experiment was conducted to study the effects of different planting densities and fertilizer rates on yield and growth of Xiangzayou763.The results showed that there were significant effects of different planting densities and fertilizer rates on agronomic characters and yield components of Xiangzayou763 at harvest period,in which the effect of fertilizer rate was larger than the effect of planting density on agronomic characters and yield components of Xiangzayou763;the seed yield of Xiangzayou763 was larger in treatments of M3N2 and M3N3.Therefore,the appropriate fertilizer rate of N,P2O5,K2O and B and planting density should be 180,90,157.5 and 0.9 kg/hm2 and 150 000~225 000 plants/hm2 respectively for planting Xiangzayou763 in Hunan,which can reduce cost and increase seed yield and economic benefits.
