On "Modernity" of Modern Chinese Literature

Abstract
Modernity of Chinese literature is not the same as Western modernist literature.Modern Chinese literature is both modern and national with apparent traits of the nation.Modern Chinese literature since the May 4th Movement has had clear characteristics of modernity in such aspects as literary viewpoints,value orientation,creative principles,artistic styles and language,etc.
