Abstract

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of the canalith repositioning maneuver to benignparoxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV).Methods:Epley maneuver,Barbecue rotation and Semont maneuver were applied to 103 cases of BPPV.Results:103 patients of BPPV were treated with manipulative reduction 72hours later,92 cases were cured, and 10 cases were ameliorated, effective power was 99.03%.Conclusion:The canalith repositioning maneuver is effective, convenient, safe, and economic for the patients of BPPV and may be recommended as the first-selected treatmentmodality.
