The Literature Metrology Analysis of the Published Papers in the past Five Years from the Independent Colleges in Liaoning Province

Abstract

Based on the literature metrology and by using the method of mathematics and statistics, the current situation and development trend are described and evaluated by the published Academic papers of independent colleges from 2008-2012 in different regions of Liaoning province. China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database(CAJD) is used as the source of literature retrieval. All the independent colleges in Liaoning province are used as the statistical objects and the total number of published papers and the number of core journal articles and papers cited frequency of the independent colleges are analyzed in the quantitative perspective. The results can be used to study as the basis of the scientific research strength of the independent colleges.
