Abstract

Modbus protocol is a kind of general protocol applied into electron controller, which has become one of the national standard in the network protocol criterion of industrial automation. A method which realized the communication between IPC and intelligent instrument based on Modbus RTU protocol with VB 6.0 and RS-485 serial port was introduced.
