Clinical Evaluation of IPS Empress II Porcelain Laminate Veneer in Restoration for Defect of Incisal Angle of Anterior Teeth

Objective To observe the clinical results of IPS Empress II porcelain laminate veneer in restoration for defect of incisal angle of anterior teeth.Methods 65 anterior teeth with small defects of incisal angle were restored by IPS Empress II porcelain laminate veneers,and had been followed up for 3 years to evaluate clincal effect,including margin integrity,anatomic form,surface and color of the veneers.Results After 3 years of restoration,98.4% veneers were foud to be intact,and had acceptable maiginal adaptation.Just after restoration,few teeth had little gingivitis and hyperesthesia of den mptom was disappear after 2 years. Patients were satisfied with the colour.Conclusion The clinical effect of IPS Empress IIporcelain laminate veneer in anterior teeth with small defects of incisal angle is satisfactory.
