Internal Harmony and External Adaptability: The Two Foundation Stones Supporting Framework of Taoism

The essence of Chinese traditional idea is that external Confucianism and internal Taoism and the nice blend of both. Among the complicated traditional culture,both Taoism and Confucianism always stand side and side. They are always one of main arteries of Chinese history of several thousand years when the Confucianism is considered as orthodoxy? This paper attempts to explore the question from the angle of internal harmony and external adaptability of social ideology.
