Experience of Ropivacaine in Children Epidural Anesthesia

Objective To study the effect and safety of ropivacaine in children epidural anesthesia.Methods 120 cases of groin hernia and intestinal overlap were divided into 2 groups(60 cases per each).On the base of routine method,the observing group was given 0.35% ropivacaine and 10% lidocaine and control group was given 0.25% bupivacaine and 1% lidocaine under control level T10.Results The successful rate in observing group was 100% and 95% in control group with 3 cases failed.There was no side effect in observing group and there were 3 cases in hypotension.Conclusion There might be effect and safe to using ropivacaine in children epidural anesthesia.
