Falling to the Ground,but Taking No Roots-The Urban Adaptability of the Peasant-workers of the New Generation

Based on a sample survey,the urban adaptability of the peasant-workers of the new generation and influencing factors is explored in this article.It is found that the work adaptability and social interaction adaptability of the peasant-workers of the new generation is on a middle level,while the living adaptability is on a low level.Regression analysis shows that family's class status through their own evaluation,media contacts,urban experience,the relative deprivation feelings,community participation,organizational support have a significant impact on the urban adaptability of the peasant-workers of the new generation.
